About the event
We are thrilled to have all the way from London: Gustavo Nunes. A figure from the european forró scene that can't get unnoticed in every party or festival he goes. Enjoy a day of workshops with him as he shares his knowledge over his unique and energetic way of dancing!
About Gustavo
Gustavo Nunes started dancing forró in 2019, in Pé Descalço School in Belo Horizonte (Brazil), where he learned his forró universitário foundations. Afterwards he moved to London where he completely immersed himself in the world of forró by going to workshops, classes, parties and many private lessons. After this year of intense apprenticeship and dedication he became a teacher at the Pé Descalço London, where he’s been giving regular lessons already for a year.
Besides forró dancing, his experience goes from being a musician to also a DJ. He loves forró to its core and he uses it as a tool for community building, socialisation and emotional therapy. These are the main subjects he wishes to share with every person he teaches.
