Forró Workshops with Léo Diniz

Straight from Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais), we are welcoming one of the most meaningful figures of forró roots currently. We are very pleased to host him for two workshops where he will be sharing knowledge over his unique style that he has been developing.

A leading figure in Forró Roots, Léo is known for his unique teaching style focused on body awareness, movement structure, and deep connection between dancers.

With a focus on roots, his experience of over 15 years in ballroom dance has helped him to become a major influence in the ever growing European forró scene too.

He is also leading his own project in Belo Horizonte called Bailaroots and organising an annual festival of forró in Ouro Preto.

He has taught across Brazil and Europe, and has been a featured instructor at top festivals like Festival Matrizes/Itaúnas and Rootstock Brasil.

⏰ 20:45-22:00 Improvers/Beginners Workshop

You should have at least completed a Beginners II course to join this workshop.

The workshop will be more on the improver level side than on the beginners level.
