In the afternoon, come develop your rhythm, creativity and communication with Forró das Oncinhas workshops!🔥 These two are Emma Raucent and Charlotte Mees, amazing references from Belgium!

Then we keep the fun going at Volta with DJ Miss Brown spinning her distinctive collection of Forró vinyl albums! 🪩 To make the evening even more special, we’ll also have our DJ Bota Forró with a fantastic selection of forró tunes for us!

About Forró das Oncinhas

Forró das Oncinhas are Emma Raucent and Charlotte Mees — two friends brought together by their love for forró and the joy of sharing it. Based in Brussels, Belgium, they’ve been teaching together since 2024.

In their workshops, they focus on connection, comfort, and dialogue rather than simply building repertoire. They value technique rooted in body awareness, helping students understand how movement can arise naturally. Their goal is to create an inclusive and playful atmosphere where every student feels welcome, relaxed and inspired to learn.

They taught in communities across Zurich, Brussels, and Hasselt, as well as at the Vinilo no Forró Festival in Brussels. They’re also proud teachers at Conexão Forró School in Brussels.

About DJ Miss Brown

Miss Brown has been a vinyl DJ and professional dancer for over 20 years so it was only natural to combine her two passions when she started dancing forró almost 3 years ago. Immersing herself into her new love and obtaining a growing a collection forró of vinyl's, she has now Deejayed at various festivals incl. Vinilo No Forró Brussels, Chamego Brighton, Forró de Tamanco Den Haag and Vinil em Paris plus various forró parties in the Netherlands, Belgium and France and is the resident DJ at Forró Den Haag in the Netherlands.

About DJ Bota Forró

Dylan Morais grew up in Lisbon and is now based in Amsterdam as part of the Bora Forró Amsterdam team. After exploring styles like kizomba and balfolk, he discovered forró and never looked back, learning with teachers such as Hongsie, Hugo Silva and Léo Diniz. His dancing is driven by a passion for connection, curiosity, and creative movement. Dylan expresses his passion for forró not only through dance but also by collecting tunes and creating a lively atmosphere for everyone to enjoy dancing.
